The Squatter

Sketch and accompanying poem.

Original poem (and slightly more serious than usual) based on a sketch of a moth I found chillin’ in my bathroom a couple of weeks back. Little fella was just misunderstood.

‘Rattlesnakes live in Desserts’

A few days ago I had a conversation with my sister about snakes. While trying to name the two types that live in Britain, she said ‘What about rattlesnakes? No wait, they live in desserts’.

Obviously, this is what immediately came to mind.

He’s actually having a lovely time in there.

It’s true, I don’t.

Expect to be seeing this guy a fair bit.

The perils facing the amateur blog-ist.

I don’t really know how to art, either.

Hello, friends.

Welcome to Lie With Style, a blog soon-to-be-devoted to doodles, poems, snippets of writing and other stuff, with a literary twist. Content will generally be light-hearted, with the occasional sinister twist. I can’t help it, it just seems to happen.

Will try to update on a weekly basis, at least. You may have to bear with me as I have not, as the picture above attests, quite yet worked out how to compute.
